  Campaigning During a Pandemic: Hard But Not Impossible  This pandemic has been tough, hard, and heart-breaking but it has shown me how to be stronger. My sixth form experience has been far from what I expected, from being in school, isolations, and lockdowns constantly. It has been difficult and stressful but it also has been enlightening; I have grown and developed as an individual.  During this pandemic, I have planned and started my very own campaign ‘Reshaping OUR Education’. It originally began as part of my political engagement activity; from there it has expanded into a full campaign that not only raises awareness for the problems faced by schools but aims to increase their funding to ensure that every child gets the education they deserve. Thousands of schools face budget shortfalls every year, this just isn’t good enough. These losses in funding steal opportunities and experiences that children need in order to develop and succeed. My experience on Twitter

I started up Twitter on the 12th  August 2020 initially for @Raiseschfunding, which was the day everything went live. We have now been running for about 6 months and what a journey it has been. I decided not too long after to create a personal account to tweet things that are not always campaign-related. To be honest I was nervous to join because in the past I heard many bad stories about the platform, where there was always some form of hate etc. I for one do not like this and try to avoid any arguments or hate as I like to spread the positivity and see happiness and joy in others. That is what makes me truly happy.  I went against this fear and took this step into the world of Twitter…. What a great experience it has been so far! I have connected with some amazing and kindest individuals both with Raise School Funding and in general.
